ENIGMA 2.0

- Enigma has started its journey as a small coding contest included with memory-boosting puzzles. It had remained the same since 2018.
- But in 2019, with a new look and with high expectations it was reloaded to Enigma 2.0 with the theme Advance.Elevate.Innovate and emerged as the annual flagship event of IEEE CS GCET SBC.
- It has become the destination hub for students who are enthusiastic towards advances in technology.
- On the first day:
- Ms. Moutan Sarkar explained about cryptography and cryptocurrency. She also explained in depth the working of cryptography with some real-time examples, i.e. creation of hash code and decoding hash code. Later students interacted with her and got their queries clarified.
- Dr. Y. Vijayalatha Reddy explained about Machine Learning and its applications. The session was interactive and students learned about basic concepts of Machine Learning like Supervised and Unsupervised Learning,etc., In the end, Dr. Y. Vijayalatha Reddy gave a small presentation regarding IEEE and its benefits.
- Mr. Bala Prasad P gave insights on BlockChain technology and its future uses. He also explained about the requirement for freshers in the near future.
- The second day was engaged as:
- Dr. S. Nagendra Kumar demonstrated about Fog Computing VS Cloud Computing. Sir gave a live demonstration of Cloud computing using Raspberry Pi 3. He also stated the need for Cloud Computing in future and its uses.
- Mr. Akella Raghavendra started his session by giving a clear picture of what is Inner Engineering and Social Engineering. The session was very enthusiastic and interactive. Sir also gave useful remedies for students to do well in their academics as well as in their life.
- Mr. Anil Rachamalla demonstrated on the topic The Need for Digital Safety. Sir told about the security issues that one faces while using Social Media Platforms. He also gave some real-life examples of how people fall prey to this Social Media. Students interacted with sir and got their queries clarified.
Along with the interesting sessions, there was a Coder’s Quiz conducted that included coding challenges for all the participants for free of cost.
After 3 rounds, Sharan Kumar M of Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology was declared as the winner in the closing ceremony of the symposium.
