TRANSFORMER QUALITY ASSURANCE
The manufacturing of electrical transformers is an integral part of the global supply chain. With the improvement of technology, the design and manufacturing of transformers can be more aggressive. Techniques such as reduction of internal clearances and use of pure mineral oil ensure the passing of tests during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Clean room and environmental conditions can be compromised during the manufacturing process which can have impact in the life expectancy of transformers. This presentation will walk through the quality assurance during the manufacturing of transformers.
