Michael Doak

Biography:

Michael Doak is a technology visionary with over 20 years of experience in all areas of the technology
stack. His most recent experience is with Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) where he is
leading a team of software, computer vision, mechanical and electrical engineers that are developing a
state of the art computer-vision and machine learning analytics platform. This AI based platform,
named Power-I, will be used in the electrical utility industry to reduce substation operations and
maintenance costs while providing condition based monitoring and alerting for critical utility assets and
facilities. Mike is fascinated by anything robotic whether it has legs, tracks, wheels, or is airborne and
loves the challenge associated with taking data from these devices and converting it into an actionable
data pipeline. In his free time, he farms along with his family on their 300 acre angus cattle farm in the
rolling hills of southwestern Pennsylvania.
