IEEE Sprout
The IEEE Sprout, Membership Development Program which was organized by the IEEE Student Branch of South Eastern University for Sri Lanka, aims to provide opportunity for university students to become more aware about the importance and benefits of IEEE membership. Moreover, this event encouraged non-members to join IEEE and collaborate with the Student Branch.
IEEE Sprout also aimed at participant’s professional development which will motivate them to develop their technical skills. Apart from that, this event provided students with a good overview of the industry and how IEEE would assist them to meet industry expectations. IEEE Student Branch of SEUSL presented IEEE Sprout as a two-day virtual event, with durations of three hours and two hours respectively on the first and second days.

Mr. Vidura Dhananjaya Bandara
Biography:
Mr.Vidura Dhananjaya Bandara is a determined, hardworking, and self-learning individual. He has previously volunteered as the Secretary Team Member/Lead of Techno Meetups 2018-2019, the Program Team Lead of IEEE INSL 2019 and the Chairman of IEEE INSL 2020. He is currently holding the roles as the Co-Chair of IEEE Young Professionals LETs Talk and the Membership Development Sub-Committee Chair of Student Activities Committee 2021. He's currently employed as an Intern Project Manager at Arimac.
Eng. Thilina Medagama
Biography:
Eng. Thilina medagama is a talened, hard working electrical and electronic engineer with excellent skills. He is an proud product of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. He was a former trainee engineer at Mobitel and he is currently working as an application engineer at Sinopys Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.
