About the speaker:

Mr. Ali Asad completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from ZHCET, AMU, and has also been the Gold Medalist with a grade of 9.7 in his branch. He did his master’s degree in Fluid Mechanics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris. He served as a Research Fellow at IIT Kanpur and IISc Bangalore. He also served as a summer trainee at NTPC Limited. In AMU, he has chaired the ASME Student Chapter UAV Club.

MS Series Ep:09 of "Get On-Board to Abroad" was joined by around 70 people. The speaker was introduced by Sabahat Ahmad Khan, Co-Coordinator, Event Conceptualization. Mr. Ali Asad started the brief introduction about the Masters in France. He told us about applying for masters in France, our strategy, approaching different colleges, selecting different degrees according to our choice, and what we want to do in life or masters. He gave every detail about the application process (application form, Transcript SOP). Then, he talked about the Government scholarships and Company scholarships, paid research internships. He also talked about the student benefits (CAF – rent subsidy, Health insurance, Subsidized transport card). After that, there was a Q&A session which was very interactive, and attendees cleared all their doubts. At last vote of thanks was delivered by Saqib Masood, Co-Coordinator, Industry Interaction, and a certificate of appreciation as a mark of honor was presented to the speaker.
