Online One Day FDP on“Calculation of Academic Performance Indicator (API) for various Academic positions”
A one day online FDP “Calculation of Academic Performance Indicator (API) for various Academic positions” was organized by the Dept of ECE, SANTHIRAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE. The FDP aimed the quality legal education in the country and also rewarding for those who work hard in the teaching profession. After attending the session the participant knows about importance of API. The total numbers of participants were 134. Mrs.V.Nagamani acted as coordinator for this program.
The program co-convener Dr. Y.Mallikarjuna Rao welcomed the participants and delivered the Welcome note followed with Inaugural address by Principal Dr. M.V. Subramanyam Garu. The chief guest address was delivered by Dr. B V Ram Naresh Yadav, Associate Professor.
The session was started approximately at 10:15 AM and chief guest gave the orientation about how to develop a score which gives us an idea about how many years of teaching experience does a faculty have, how many books has she/he published, how many publications does the faculty have, how many conferences has the faculty attended. He told about the idea to award score for research is to motivate teachers into keeping their student flare alive and also have quality research being generated for future generations to study.
The session came to an end after long interactions between the guest and faculties. The final vote of thanks delivered by Principal Dr. M.V. Subramanyam Garu.
The feedback was collected in online mode. The participants felt happy and gave good feedback.
