This is a hands-on workshop targeting Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) users. Two topics will be covered, 1) Scripting techniques [IronPython and pyAEDT]. This includes creating projects, and designs, handling design setups and extracting different types of data. 2) AEDT Tips and Tricks and how to access Ansys Resources. This includes how to simulate hybrid regions, using SBR+ techniques, accommodate the right resources for your simulations, enable GPU acceleration, etc.

Sameir Deif Sameir Deif of Ansys

Biography:

Sameir Deif received a B.Sc. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Mansoura University, Mansoura, Egypt, in 2007, and an M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering specializing in radio frequency (RF)/microwave circuits from the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in 2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in planar microwave active and passive sensors research at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, AB, Canada in July 2020. Currently, he has been employed by Ansys since January 2021 as a Verification Engineer II.
