Sea Air Land Challenge- Introduction to Engineering using Robotics
The Sea Air and Land Challenge is a STEM initiative to introduce 7th to 12th grade students to engineering through the use of robotics. With the focus on underserved areas, where students have few STEM opportunities or STEM role models, the Challenge offers an accessible, low-cost, fun program that gives students a hands-on opportunity to learn about the engineering design process and STEM careers. This presentation will describe the history of the program, its goals, the current status, and ways in which volunteers can be involved.
