The IEEE Vehicular Technology Society / Communications-Based Train Control & Signals Standards Committee is forming a PAR Study Group to examine a proposal for standardization of domain-specific applications for artificial intelligence systems related to:

Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) systems and technologies; and Railway signaling systems. Technology suppliers, transit agencies, policymakers, consultants, researchers, and other materially interested parties are invited to join the study group to: identify domain applications and technical characteristics for standardization; determine interest in a standardization project; and define a pathway for the project.
