AI in the Industrial Landscape
Khalifeh Al Jadda's experience extends to implementing large-scale, distributed machine learning algorithms, enabling innovative solutions for intricate problems. Notably, he serves as the Lead Data Scientist on the search data science team at CareerBuilder, a global job board of significant magnitude. In this role, he spearheads the data science efforts to design and deploy the backend of CareerBuilder's language-agnostic semantic search engine, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Apache Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem.
Recognizing the importance of community engagement, Dr. AlJadda has founded the Southern Data Science Conference and he also co-founded a non-profit organization ATLytiCS (www.atlytics.org). He is a frequent public speaker on topics related to data science, machine learning, semantic search, and big data analytics.

Speaker: Khalifeh Al Jadda, the Director of Data Science at Google, is an accomplished professional with a remarkable background in computer science and machine learning. He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Georgia (UGA), specializing in machine learning, and has leveraged his expertise to tackle complex challenges across diverse domains, including Bioinformatics and search and recommendation engines.
