NGO Visit to Government School
The NGO visit to the Government school at Malleshwaram was
held on 2nd and 3rd of December 2022.
• The visit was organised under the guidance of the faculty
coordinator of IEEE club, Dr. Jalaja S.
• The visit on the first day was from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. by the
execom members of IEEE.
• The students of class 9 were asked to introduce about themselves
along with their ambitions.
• A small talk on Career guidance was given based on their choice of
ambition.
• A simple project was showcased to the students giving them a
hands-on experience.
• The last event was a fun game of quiz where the students enjoyed
by pasting the sticky notes with answers.
• The winners and the runners of the last event was given pens as a
token of appreciation and chocolates were distributed to all the
students.
• The visit on the second day was from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• The students were introduced about the STEM education in India
for 15 minutes.
• A detailed Career Guidance session was held on the second day
with a Question-and-Answer round.
• A general quiz was conducted for 40 minutes.
• Students were taken to the laboratory to teach them the basics of
HTML.
• Later, fun events like ‘Math event’ and ‘Guessing the celebrities’
were conducted along with the talent show at the end to keep the
students entertained.
• Goodies like pouch, colour paints and water bottle were presented
to the winners of the events.
• It was a productive and a fun visit where all the Execom members
participated to educate 50 students of government school.
