Ground Schemes & Resistance Grounding for Microgrid Applications
The IEEE Alabama Section eagerly anticipates an illuminating presentation by Ms. Marlene McCartha, President of AC & DC Technologies, which delves into the nuanced realm of "Ground Schemes & Resistance Grounding for Microgrid Applications." Additionally, we will have Mr. John Levine joining us to discuss system protection via these applications.
Microgrids have emerged as agile solutions to contemporary energy demands, fostering self-sufficiency and adaptability within communities. Against this backdrop, we will discuss the practical applications of ground schemes within microgrids. By emphasizing the tangible benefits of implementing robust ground schemes and resistance grounding techniques, the aim will be to underscore the pivotal role they play in enhancing the reliability, safety, and resilience of microgrid systems.
