R&D in State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation & Power Equipment of China
The State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation and Power Equipment was established in Xi’an Jiaotong University in 1991. It is a leading institute in the frontier of high voltage engineering, electrical insulation, and electric power equipment. The laboratory has undertaken a number of large-scale projects, and its contributions have been recognized through a series of national and international awards in scientific research. The laboratory currently has more than 50 full-time academics. In this seminar, Professor Guan-jun Zhang who is the leader of Research Center for Electrical Discharge and Plasma Technology in this national laboratory and his PhD students will present their recent research work. Their topics will cover (1) Introduction to State Key Laboratory of Electrical Insulation & Power Equipment (given by Guan-Jun Zhang); (2) Partial Discharge Diagnostics of Power Transformer and GIS (given by Ming-Xiao Zhu); and (3) Dielectric Response Based Insulation Condition Diagnostics of Oil-immersed and Polymeric Insulation Equipment (given by Ai-Xuan Zhao, Wen-Dong Li and Guan-Jun Zhang).
