Quanti-Quest
The event encompassed various engaging activities and sessions. The event was addressed to the participant, by the active volunteers of the three society. The address emphasized the significance of technical and non-technical Event which is conducted. The participant were very interactive and energetic throughout the event.The first round was QUIZTOPHER which is non-technical event conducted by the prominent members of Photonics Society. They were 50 teams participated in the first round. By shortlisting, 25 teams are level up to the second round. The team comprises of two members both will be facing each other. The member who is gonna answer for the question will be facing the question display on the screen. The other will be start to play the game. Once the questions is displayed the known person team can raise their hand and his partner start to play the game. The game will be 5 cups are placed on the table and a balloon is provide to them. Once his Partner knows the answer he raises hand and other starts playing the game by blowing the balloon into the cup and placing the 5 cups to the opposite side. Now the co team member can answer the question. The team which completes the game first and answers the right answer were the winners of the round. The second round was PELMANISM which is a technical event conducted by the members of the Signal Processing Society. The shortlisted teams are participated in this round. And finally, 10 teams were shortlisted for the final round. This round comprises of two members per team. The shortlisted team were split into batches and the event conducted for those batches. The team members are aligned in a line and a picture is displayed in the screen. 15 seconds were allotted to observe the picture and the question is enquired based on the picture. The team which raises the hand first and answers the right answer were allotted with points. The team which got tie were shortlisted to next round with their previous round points. The cumulative points calculation were done to shortlisted the team to next round.The third round was HAMMERHEADS which is a technical event conducted by the Broadcast and Technology society. The shortlisted teams of previous round were made to compete with each other team. The team were made to play hand cricket and the team which wins the round were allowed to answer the question. The questions are wholly signals and communication related questions. The team which answers the correct answer were shortlisted as the winners. The first three position is decided based on their overall performance in all the round. The final round participants participated actively and showcased their technical knowledge in this round .
