Boeing High Bay Tour
The Boeing Company at the Oklahoma City Facility has a B-52 inside a high bay laboratory. This B-52 is being used for the Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) and the Radar Modernization Program (RMP) to extend the life of the aircraft out beyond 2050.
Boeing has invited members of the OKC Section of IEEE for a guided tour of the facility.
A maximum of 20 guests, first come first served, can attend, registration is required.
Lunch will be provided prior to the tour.
Because the Boeing Company and the High Bay are Department of Defense contractor and contracted facilities, tour participants will need to send an image of their State Issued Drivers License to rchuck@ieee.org by the end of registration for site access. The registration is open to 25 people in the event some of the first 20 do not send in their License in time. All participants will be notified by 10 September of their ability to attend.
