STALLCUP'S ILLUSTRATED CODE CHANGES -- NEC 2023 - State of AK Approved
Sponsored by the IEEE Alaska Section - Confirmed State of AK Approved
Alaska and other states and the Municipality of Anchorage currently using the 2020 NEC will be or have commenced the process of revising the statute or administrative rules through which the NEC is updated to reference the 2023 edition. Five other states and the Department of Defense and many federal agencies have already adopted the 2023 NEC.
Do you want to avoid a lawsuit because you don't know about changes to the latest iteration of the National Electrical Code? If your answer to this question is, "YES," you should sign up for this class to get updated. If your answer is, "NO," or you don't care, you should sign up anyway because this class comes with 16 Continuing Eduation Hours that can be applied toward your Professional Engineering, Electrical Administrator and Journeyman licensure or certification's education requirements. If the need for continuing education does not apply to you and you are in any position to deal with the National Electrical Code, you should still sign-up and attend.
Here are some reasons why you should sign up:
1) Improve your understanding of the NEC® changes in this return of in-person seminar featuring an in-depth discussion of the major code changes and a behind-the-scenes look at why the changes were made. This knowledge will dramatically improve the usability of this document to help you get the job done quickly and accurately.
2) Find out how to locate and apply the 2023 NEC® changes and increase your electrical expertise!
3) The new 2023 National Electrical Code® contains significant changes impacting how you do your job. This seminar will quickly boost the usability of the new code by helping you understand how to locate and implement the code changes.
4) The instructor has a well-deserved reputation for his knowledge of the various codes and standards, and he "knows where the bodies are buried," so to speak. Mr. Stallcup is familiar with some of the unique aspects of Alaska through your questions at previous classes. If you have a question about the NEC or its application, you can expect to get a good answer if you ask him.
5) This course materials includes a copy Stallcup's illustrated Code Changes workbook and a 2023 NEC® Handbook with additional illustrations of the code. NOTE: Due to availability, not all of the 2023 Handbooks will be available at the class. We will get them to all attendees as they come available.
