IEEE SB Panimalar Engineering College & Panimalar Institute of Technology together in association with IETE ISF, Computer Society, Photonics Society, Signal Processing Society, TEMS and IEEE presented a webinar on IoT Applications as a part of Emerging Technology Track by Dr. V. V. Rama Rao Pokanati, Professor in EEE, Guest Speaker, Entrepreneur and Insurance Advisor on 08.07.23. Dr. V. V. Rama Rao Pokanati delivered invaluable insights into the vast array of possibilities offered by IoT technology, emphasising its transformative impact on industries like healthcare, agriculture, transportation, and manufacturing. He provided concrete illustrations of IoT applications, such as remote patient monitoring, smart farming systems, connected vehicles, and predictive maintenance in factories. Around 30 participants attended. The Student Coordinators Deephikaa K G, Santha Lakshmi S, Sushmitha M and Reshma B coordinated the session along with the Staff Coordinator Mr. Arun. M, AP/ECE.
