IEEE COSTA RICA SECTION INVITES
CONCAPAN IS THE MOST RELEVANT CONVENTION OF THE CENTRAL AMERICA AND PANAMA CONCIL (CAPANA). IT IS A YEARLY BASE CONVENTION IN ONE OF THE COUNTRIES OF CONCIL.
SINCE 1971, THE CONVENTION HAS BEEN GOING ON FROM NORTH TO SOUTH IN THE CENTRAL AMERICA REGION, (CONCA 1971-1980) (CONCAPAN 1981 – UP TO DATE).

The Costa Rica Section of the IEEE is organizing the 36th Convention of Central America and Panama Region, XXXVI CONCAPAN 2016. This is one of the mayor technological events in the region and this year is organized with the motto “Engineering and Technology... Greener, Smarter, and More Human!” The event will take place in San José, Costa Rica, from November 9th to 11th, 2016 in the Wyndham-Herradura Hotel. The technical program will include tutorials, conference tracks, forums, and an exhibition hall featuring engineering services and technological products by sponsoring companies. The participation in the XXXVI CONCAPAN is an excellent opportunity for professional skill development and update, professional networking, teamwork building, and it is a space to strength business relations and friendship among professional communities.
The Technical Program Committee (TPC) is pleased to extend the invitation for participation as a contributing author in the technical program of the XXXVI CONCAPAN Convention.

The papers must be written in English and must be submitted in PDF format using the IEEE template for conference papers. The template can be downloaded here. The PDF file must comply with the IEEE requirements.
The papers must describe original unpublished contributions by the authors and must comply with the IEEE guidelines. The maximum extension is 6 pages, including figures, references and an abstract (150 words maximum).
From April 2016, the online submission tool will be available through the Convention Website http://concapan2016.com/.
Paper publication and its inclusion in the program require that at least one author must be registered in the category AUTOR before October 9, 2016. All accepted papers will be indexed and published on IEEE Xplore.
