IEEE Tunisian Forum for Industry-Academia Partnership (TFIAP'2016)
The National Engineering School of Gabes (ENIG) is organizing the first edition of the Tunisian Forum for Industry-Academia Partnership (TFIAP’2016), under the slogan “Together for Progress“, in partnership with “IEEE Tunisia Section” and “Association Scientifique d’Appui à la Recherche et à l’Innovation Technologique” (ASARIT).
The Tunisian forum for Industry-Academia partnership is an international event where more than 150 young engineers and professionals from Tunisia and all over the world meet together to enhance the Relationships between Academic Institutions and Industry , and to create certain combination to encourage the Institution to meet the needs of industry for new technology and new ideas for businesses, products and services.
The forum will also be an opportunity for students and PhD students to present their innovative ideas and participate in several workshops. The forum will take place on 02-03 April 2016 in Sousse, are invited: professionals, academics, PhD students and students.
TFIAP’2016 will be a space for exchange, sharing and partnership university/industry. Presentations, workshops and case studies will be led by academic stakeholders and practitioners.

Mohamed Amin
IEEE Actions for Industry Initiative
Biography:
Mohamed Amin is an enthusiastic IEEE volunteer serving as IEEE R8 Industry Ambassador
with main focus on Middle East & North Africa region.
Amin is a professional telecommunication engineer working for Nokia as Account manager.
Previously he was leading the Services Business Development for Orange in EMEA and other
mobile operators in Middle East, Turkey & Africa region with main focus on IP routing
services.
Amin received his bachelor degree from faculty of engineering, Alexandria University in
2007. He started his professional career at Alcatel-Lucent in post-sales as Technical support
engineer for MEA wireless customers then in 2011 he moved to start a presales career as
services tendering engineer for Orascom Telecom (now Vimpelcom) & Orange affiliates in
MEA.
Being IEEE member & enthusiastic volunteer, he served in several leading positions in IEEE
Egypt section, starting by IEEE volunteer in Egyptian Engineering Day in 2006 till he is
appointed by IEEE GOLD Egypt board as EED Chairman to lead one of the biggest IEEE
engineering exhibition & conferences in its 10th round in 2011. Amin was an elected board
member of IEEE GOLD Egypt – now known as IEEE Egypt Young Professionals – from January
2013 till End of December 2014.

Muhammad Usman Munawar

Biography:
Mr. Usman Munawar, Serving as Research Officer In Al- Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan and Technical Consultant, Energy Division, Sultan Sons and Systek Pakistan. He is also serving as Research resource, Business Behavioral Lab, Stanford, USA. He found his own company “Sharif Engineerings” and implemented 50 Renewable (Solar) Energy projects and involve in several government projects.
He completed his BS. Electrical Engineering from COMSATS Institute of information Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in early 2014 and Carrying on his research with Al- Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan
He won number of Technical titles in national and International Project Competitions including Best Innovator Award 2014 by Pakistan Science foundation for developing LED Bulb from available machinery in country and safe unemployment of thousands of poor People. He was awarded with best volunteer awards at national and provincial level by Pakistan Red Crescent Society. He worked with more than 12 Non Profit Organizations, While IEEE is his Technical Affiliation. He was provided with Gold Medals for serving Humanity by Director, University of Lahore and Director, COMSATS Lahore. His affiliation with IEEE from 2010, Now He is serving In IEEE at Lahore Section as Chair, IEEE PES Lahore Section, ComSoc active Volunteer and Secretary, IEEE Young Professionals, at Region 10 as IEEE Young Professional PES Coordinator, IEEE SAC Chair, Lahore Section, IEEE Region 10, HAC and Oversight Committee and at IEEE SMART Grid, as Conference and R&D Committee Member. He has been serving in IEEE Young Professionals since 4 years, Government of Pakistan awarded him three times for his Managerial and organizing technical activities (ICDIM 2013, International IT Science and Engineering Exhibition 2014, Punjab Youth Festival and Pakistan Engineering Council). He gave Technical talks and Motivation talks to IEEE Branches throughout IEEE Lahore Section and expedited Technical activities throughout Pakistan. He was one of the key organizer of International Conferences (IEEE ICDIM 2013, Pakistan, IEEE PECON 2014, Malaysia, IEEE Intellect Smart Grid 2015, India and IEEE ICOSST 2014, ICOSST 2015). He gave presentation in IEEE PES, Annual General Meeting R10 at IEEE ISGT Asia 2015 and presented model for development of young professionals in Asia and Pacific. He Initiated IEEE PES Technical Chapter in Lahore Section and helped in establishment of IEEE PES Technical Chapter in Islamabad and Karachi Section. He is founder of IEEE IAS in Pakistan and serving as IAS CMD YP-Subcommittee R10 Representative.
