IEEE Field Visit to Trace Expert City
Concurrent with the commemoration of IEEE Day which is"Leveraging technology for a better tomorrow"on October 4, 2023, the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka IEEE student branch organized a valuable on-site tour to the industry leader, Trace Expert City in Maradana.
The event took place on 19th October 2023, at 6.00 am we took off from Wayamba University Premises by our Univeristy bus with 65 participants. About 8.45 am we reached our destination. 65 participants participated to the event.
After reaching first we went to visit TechSpark Studio.Here we got know about the innovations and industrial revoloution.After a fresh talk then we visited Vega Innovation where an electric vehicle (EV) automobile manufacture of electric super cars.We got lots of knowledge about an all-electric battery-powered two-seater AWD sports car.With this we we came to the end of the field visit.Then we got our lunch in the canteen at Trace Expert City.Later we took some photos to make the day more memorable.
