HackFest'24 is the 2nd version of HackFest concluded last year.HackFest'24 is a PAN India level Hackathon which provides students to compete and build their own solutions to the particular problem statements. HackFest'24 provides a stage to showcase your talent and proof yourself among best developers throughout nation.

HackFest is a 24-hour hackathon organized by the IEEE-SB MMMUT, which was devised as a method for students to build and innovative solutions to real life problems. HackFest aims to contribute to the growth of technology in India by contributing to the cause of “Make-in-India”. The previous four iterations of HackFest proved to be among the finest hackathons in North India.

HackFest believes in conceptualizing ‘ideas into reality’ and was started as a platform to provide support to budding developers into enhancing their problem-solving skills, and work towards providing groundbreaking solutions to existing day-to-day problems.

Agenda

Guidelines:

  • HackFest'24 will be a 24-hours long hackathon.

  • Students are required to complete their projects and upload the code on GitHub and host the project on any platform. 

  • Prizes will be awarded based on the project's creativity,execution and impact made on the target users or the community.

  • External participants (except MMMUT candidates) can also take part in this hackathon, however, such participants are required to bear their travel charges of arriving at the MMMUT campus themselves.

  • All team members must be present during the hackathon, and any member found violating the code of conduct may result in the disqualification of the entire team.

  • Students are requested to bring their own laptops and equipments required for the event.

  • Abstract Submission is completely free for everyone.

  • No registration fee for other college students.

  • The shortlisting will be done by the Organizing Committee and the decision taken by the Organizing Committee is final in all cases.

  • Accommodation for the teams will be provided. Note that the price for accommodation per head is fixed and non-negotiable.

  • A 3-day lodging facility will be provided to the selected teams (after the elimination round) by the organizing committee of HackFest'24 MMMUT at a nominal cost of ₹599 per head.The cost includes accommodation and food.

  • Any Payment for Accommodation is Non-Refundable.

  • If you choose to lodge outside of the campus, the organizing committee is not responsible for the same.
