Skin Absorption of Arthritis Drugs
Delivery of drugs through the skin is a highly desirable mode of applying medication. Considerable effort has been devoted to finding improvements in administering arthritis medications through the skin. Despite the many advantages it provides, understanding the full mechanisms of transdermal drug delivery is challenging. Mathematical models have been developed to facilitate this understanding, but additional research is needed.
