On 19th September 2024, IEEE Information Theory Society, SEC Student Branch Chapter, conducted an event titled “FROM IDEAS TO IMPACT- Funding Strategies to Fuel Your Project Ideas”. The event commenced with a welcome address from Dr.B.Latha, HOD, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.Following this, Dr. S.K.Uma Maheswaran delivered a comprehensive keynote speech on funding strategies, focusing on essential aspects of securing resources for innovative projects. His talk covered various channels of funding, including government grants, industry collaborations, and crowdfunding.
