IEEE DAY CLASSICAL DANCE
In celebration of ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐, the ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฟ
๐๐ป๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ hosted an exciting " ๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ " competition
for students, aimed at engaging participants and enriching their
appreciation for India's cultural heritage. The event, judged by
๐๐ฟ.๐.๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ(M.E,Ph.d,Vice Principal, Professor&Head-ECE,Jeppiaar
Engineering College) offered a unique challenge where students
were assigned a specific classical dance form on the spot, testing
both their versatility and quick adaptability.
Participants had to perform a three-minute routine, showcasing their
understanding of the assigned dance style, including intricate
gestures, expressions, and rhythmic movements that are integral to
classical dance forms. The event was vibrant and filled with
remarkable performances, as students demonstrated their creativity,
skill, and passion for the art.
The jury, led by Dr. Jebastine, assessed the performances based on
various criteria such as technique, expression, creativity, and stage
presence. After witnessing an array of impressive talent, the best
performers were selected and awarded, acknowledging their
exceptional ability to deliver under the spontaneous conditions.
Overall, the event not only highlighted the cultural richness of classical
dance but also provided an engaging platform for students to display
their artistic talents, making it a memorable and enriching part of the
IEEE Day celebrations.
