PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Training organized by IEEE ESTÜ SB RAS Committee aimed to teach participants the basic working principles of PLCs used in industrial automation systems. In the first part of the training, theoretical information was given about PLC structure, input-output modules and programming languages. Participants learned how PLCs are used in industrial processes and acquired basic knowledge in this field.

In addition to theoretical information, participants' PLC programming skills were developed with practical applications in the training. Participants worked on various scenarios and learned how to program automation systems using PLCs. This event helped engineering students in particular to reinforce their knowledge on industrial automation and increased the participants' competencies in this field.
