IEEE PES Malaysia was invited to judge the Final Year Project (FYP) Seminar organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). IEEE PES Malaysia was represented by Dr Nrulafiqah Nadzirah Mansor.

The event was attended by 30 participants consisting of students and about 10 lecturers (all are IEEE members). The event was conducted physically where the IEE PES judge had to evaluate projects related to the track of Power and Energy.

 The winner of the award was Muhammad Irham Bin Shaari  with a project entitled ‘An Infrared Thermographic Analysis of Solar Photovoltaic Panels for Abnormality Detection and Classification’.
