Data streaming is a critical component of modern data engineering, balancing the need for real-time decision-making ("fast data") with the value of high-quality, aggregated insights ("slow data"). This presentation explores the principles and practices that guide the development of robust, compliant, and trustworthy data streaming systems. Using Microsoft Azure as a central example—while referencing other platforms like AWS, GCP, and open-source alternatives—we’ll focus on how these foundational concepts are implemented in practice.

This is a hybrid event. Bottled water and sandwiches are available to in-person attendees.
