Machine learning and deep learning models process acoustic features, linguistic cues, and facial expressions for accurate emotion classification. Applications span virtual assistants, customer service, mental health monitoring, and sentiment analysis. While AI improves efficiency and personalization, challenges include cultural variability, data bias, and real-time processing. SER is shaping more intuitive, responsive, and emotionally aware AI systems for enhanced user experiences.
