The IEEE MATRIX 2024 is an intra-university innovation competition designed to encourage students to develop creative solutions for real-world problems. This event provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and showcases technological advancements and ideas.

This event aims to promote creativity, technical proficiency, and problem-solving expertise in a competitive environment.

Event Structure and Timeline

•    November 19, 2024, 12:00 PM: Release of problem statements.

•    November 23, 2024, 12:00 AM: Synopsis submission deadline via Google Forms.

•    November 25, 2024, 12:00 AM: Round-1 results announcement.

•    November 30, 2024, 12:00 PM: Final project presentations.

•    Offline: GEU Dehradun participants.

•    Online: GEHU Bhimtal and Haldwani participants.

Team Guidelines

•    Teams can have 1–4 members.

•    All team members must be from the same campus.

•    No team member can participate in more than one team.

•    Post-registration team modifications are not allowed.

•    Deviations from the guidelines will result in disqualification.

Judging Criteria

•    Innovation and Creativity: 25%

•    Problem Relevance and Impact: 20%

•    Technical Feasibility and Execution: 20%

•    Team Collaboration and Presentation: 15%

•    Market Viability and Scalability: 10%

•    Sustainability and Ethical Considerations: 10%

 

Rules

•    Ideas must be original and innovative.

•    Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

•    Only the team leader may submit the final solution as a PowerPoint presentation.

•    All team members must be present during the final presentation.

•    Judges' decisions are final and binding.
