Cyber Overdrive
The "Cyber Overdrive" Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, held on 5th February 2025 at Seminar Hall 1, PES University Electronic City Campus, was a resounding success! Organized by IEEE PES ECC Student Branch, the event aimed to challenge participants in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and problem-solving. With a prize pool of ₹3000, the competition attracted a high level of engagement, bringing out the best in students eager to showcase their skills.
The event saw an overwhelming participation of 132 students, forming 68 teams. Each team displayed remarkable dedication, solving complex challenges and racing against time to find hidden flags. The intense two-and-a-half-hour competition tested various cybersecurity domains, including Web Exploitation, Forensics, Cryptography, Reverse Engineering, Binary Exploitation, and OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence). Participants showcased exceptional problem-solving skills, leveraging their technical knowledge and teamwork to overcome challenges and secure flags efficiently.
