The IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter at QIS College of Engineering and Technology is organizing a 2-day hands-on Blockchain Development Bootcamp focused on Hyperledger, Solidity, and Ethereum.
This workshop aims to provide participants with a practical understanding of blockchain technology, covering key areas such as smart contract development, decentralized applications (DApps), and private blockchain networks. Through hands-on sessions, attendees will explore real-world applications of blockchain and its impact across industries.

Biography:
M Sai Prashanth is a dynamic leader and an influential person in IEEE, actively contributing to technical, educational, and professional development initiatives across multiple IEEE societies and committees. With a strong passion for fostering collaboration between academia and industry, he has been instrumental in driving strategic programs that empower students and young professionals worldwide.
Sai Prashanth serves as an Advisory Board Member for The Institute’s Editorial Advisory Board, IEEE PSPB(V), where he provides insights on editorial strategies and content curation to enhance IEEE’s global outreach. As the IEEE TAB Committee Young Professionals Representative for the IEEE Education Society, he bridges the gap between emerging professionals and technical leadership by advocating for skill-building, mentorship, and career growth initiatives.
In his role as Chair of the IEEE Education Society Ad Hoc Committee, Sai Prashanth is responsible for designing and executing impactful programs that support the education ecosystem within IEEE. Additionally, as the Chair of Student Activities for the IEEE ComSoc Member Services Board, he leads initiatives to engage students and young professionals in the field of communications.
Recognizing the importance of diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, Sai Prashanth actively contributes as a Member of the IEEE ComSoc Diversity Ad Hoc Committee (V) and Young Professionals & Students Liaison for IEEE ComSoc WICE (Women in Communications Engineering). He also plays a significant role in IEEE Future Networks, focusing on engaging young professionals in emerging technologies like 5G, IoT, and AI-driven communication systems.
With a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, he is part of the IEEE Signal Processing Society Education Board, IEEE IES (Industrial Electronics Society) Young Professionals Committee, IEEE VTS (Vehicular Technology Society) Young Professionals Committee, and IEEE India Council Young Professionals Committee. These roles allow him to contribute to policy discussions, technical education, and career development programs that impact thousands of students and engineers worldwide.
As the Lead Ambassador for IEEE Collabratec & IEEE Puzzlers, Sai Prashanth actively promotes knowledge-sharing and engagement within IEEE’s global technical community, fostering a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
