The Android Development Workshop, organized by the IEEE Student Chapter, was conducted on 05th March, 2025 at JSS University, Noida. The primary objective of this workshop was to provide students with hands-on experience in Android app development, equipping them with practical skills in Android Studio, Kotlin, UI/UX design, and app deployment.
The workshop featured expert speakers who guided participants through key topics such as setting up Android Studio, working with Intents and Activities, designing user-friendly interfaces, and integrating Firebase for backend support. A hands-on coding session allowed students to build a basic Android application, reinforcing their learning through real-world application.
With an enthusiastic turnout of 70 participants, the session proved to be highly engaging and interactive. A Q&A session enabled students to clarify their doubts and explore career opportunities in mobile app development. The event received positive feedback, with participants appreciating the structured approach, practical exercises, and expert mentorship.
The key outcomes of the workshop included:
