Keynote: "How Electronic Engineering Contributes to Scaling Quantum Computers"
Abstract: This talk offers an overview of quantum computing and the critical technological challenges in reaching quantum advantage. Dr. Orzati highlights how Zurich Instruments and electronic engineers are addressing these hurdles.
About the Speaker: Dr. Orzati became CEO of Zurich Instruments in 2024. His background spans RFIC design at u-blox and executive leadership at Sensirion. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and an EMBA from HEC Lausanne.

Abstract: While AI has advanced rapidly in language-driven domains, applying it to industrial environments presents distinct challenges. This talk explores the specific nature of industrial applications and the most suitable AI strategies for this context.
About the Speaker: Dr. Ganz, former Head of ABB Future Labs, is the founder of C. Ganz Innovation Services, a Zurich-based consultancy focused on industrial innovation and digitalization. He is also a lecturer and invited speaker at courses and workshops in Switzerland and abroad.
