Robot and kinematics of it
This is the part 1 of the two days workshop.
This workshop provides a basic understanding of mobile robotics, covering both theory
and practical implementation. Key topics include kinematics of differential-drive
robots, rotation matrices, Euler angles, motor drivers, and digital logic. Fundamental
control theory concepts will also be introduced to help with precise motion control.
Participants will model mobile robots using MATLAB and Simulink, gaining hands-on
experience in system dynamics. The workshop is designed for thesis students working
on Swarm Mobile Robotics, ensuring that everyone builds a strong foundation in singlerobot systems before moving to multi-robot coordination.
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to systematically implement a mobile
robot with a clear understanding of its control and behavior, supporting further research
in autonomous robotics
