O WIE DAY 2025, tem como tema "Pioneering Safe Cyberspace: Bridging Technology and Light for Security", no intuito de comemorar esta data o IEEE WIE UFBA organizou uma oficina de Introdução a Cibebersegurança, para mulheres terceirizadas, ou seja, mulheres que trabalham na manutenção diária da Escola Politécnica da UFBA.
As voluntárias do WIE UFBA ficarão responsáveis por ministrar esse workshop, onde será abordado temas como: Criação de senhas, cookies, fake news, golpes cibernético e o uso de Inteligência Artificial, além de ensinar como se proteger seus dados nessa era digital. Esta iniciativa busca democratizar o acesso ao conhecimento digital, sobretudo no contexto atual em que estamos inseridos.

WIE DAY 2025 has as its theme "Pioneering Safe Cyberspace: Bridging Technology and Light for Security". To celebrate this date, IEEE WIE UFBA will host an Introduction to Cybersecurity workshop for outsourced women workers that is, women who are responsible for the daily maintenance of the UFBA School of Engineering.
The WIE UFBA volunteers will be in charge of delivering this workshop, which will cover topics such as: password creation, cookies, fake news, cyber scams, and the use of Artificial Intelligence, as well as teaching how to protect personal data in this digital age. This initiative aims to democratize access to digital knowledge, especially in the current context in which we live.
