She currently serves as the Chair of the IEEE Thailand Section and has held influential
roles across the IEEE worldwide, including IEEE-HKN Regions 7–10 Governor, IEEE New
Initiatives Chair-Elect, Treasurer of the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society, and
leadership positions within the IEEE Ethics and Member Conduct Committee, IEEE Awards
Board, and Region 10 Membership Development Committee for South Asia and the Pacific.
Her contributions have been instrumental in advancing IEEE’s mission across education,
innovation, and professional development on a global scale.
Alongside her IEEE leadership, she is an Associate Professor at Chulalongkorn
University and Head of the Multimedia Analytics and Processing Research Unit, with over
two decades of expertise in video signal processing. She has authored more than 150
research publications, contributed multiple international book chapters, and guided over 80
scholars across Ph.D., Master’s, and undergraduate levels.
Her dedication has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the 2023 IEEE
Women in Engineering Inspiring Member of the Year Award and the 2019 MGA
Leadership Award.
