The IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) MIST Student Branch Chapter is honored to host a seminar in collaboration with Neural Semiconductor Limited. This event aims to empower the next generation of semiconductor leaders by providing students and young professionals with industry insights, technical expertise, and career guidance.

The seminar will serve as a platform to bridge the gap between academia and industry, highlighting how students can prepare themselves for the rapidly evolving semiconductor sector. Attendees will gain exposure to state-of-the-art semiconductor technologies, professional growth opportunities, and the pathways that lead from classroom learning to real- world engineering impact.

Head of Technology & Director, Neural Semiconductor Ltd.

Quazi Md. Mohebur Rahman, is the Head of Technology and a Director at Neural Semiconductor Ltd., Bangladesh’s pioneering semiconductor design and software company. His expertise spans software, analog & RF, and digital systems. He has led key initiatives in low-power design, digital verification, and academic–industry collaborations, partnering with institutions such as NSU, IUT, CUET, and AUST. Nishu actively mentors young engineers, speaks at academic forums, and plays a central role in building Bangladesh’s emerging semiconductor ecosystem.

Sikder of Neural Semiconductor Ltd.

Biography:

Team Lead – Analog, Neural Semiconductor Ltd.

 

Md. Shoaib Sikder is the Team Lead for Analog at Neural Semiconductor Ltd., specializing in VLSI and analog circuit design. With over five years of experience at Neural Semiconductor, he has worked extensively on analog IC design, simulation, and verification using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, and MATLAB. He has also contributed to research, including a study on the Linearization of Switch Mode Power Amplifier using Negative Impedance Method. In addition to his technical expertise, Sikder engages in academic outreach, sharing insights on chip design and the VLSI industry at institutions such as AIUB.

Biography:

Senior Engineer Digital Verification, Neural Semiconductor Ltd.

 

Adnan Mohammed Osman is a Digital Verification and Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineer at Neural Semiconductor Ltd., Dhaka. His work focuses on VLSI design, digital verification, and DFT methodologies that enhance chip reliability and reduce testing costs.

 

Osman has represented Neural Semiconductor at industry events, including serving as a judge at the MindSparks ’22 VLSI Hackathon. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST) and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in EEE at BRAC University. His expertise spans VLSI, DFT, machine learning, and wireless technologies, and he has co-authored a conference paper on wireless communication.
