Mid-Hudson IEEE Cybersecurity Ethics Competition

The Mid-Hudson IEEE Cybersecurity Ethics Competition will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025.  

The format is the same as last year.  Each team (up to 5 people) will be provided with a 1-2 page case study highlighting some aspect of ethics in cybersecurity.  The students will need to independently research the issue and write up their analysis, along with responses to four questions relating this work to the IEEE Code of Ethics.  No prior background in ethics is required, and you do not need to be an IEEE student member to participate.
