IEEE Day is a special annual event celebrated this year by IEEE ENP student branch across Algeria. It brings together passionate students, young professionals, and volunteers to honor the first historic gathering of IEEE members and their shared mission to advance technology for humanity.
During this day, Our Student Branch organize a variety of activities such as workshops, conferences, and networking sessions. It’s a unique occasion to strengthen collaboration between students and professionals, showcase students’ creativity and technical skills, and celebrate the spirit of innovation and community that unites IEEE members nationwide.
Together, we celebrate “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow.”

Cost and Market Perspectives of Green Hydrogen
Biography:
Ali Cheknane is currently a full professor at Amar Telidji University of Laghouat, Algeria). He was the dean of the faculty of technology for more than ten years. He has a PhD in Physics. His research interest is on renewable energy resource and technologies, Green hydrogen, Photovoltaics, Solar energy materials, organic photovoltaic (OPV), silicon-based solar cells, perovskite materials and Nanomaterials for solar cells applications. He is also studying the computational materials science and predictions of energy Materials.
He has published more than 100 papers in various journals and conferences proceedings on renewable energy subjects. He served as an editorial board for several journals and committee member for national and international conferences.
✓ He was awarded for the best publication in physics in Algeria from the ANDRU agency in 2008 (ATRST, actually),
✓ He had an incentive award from ‘’ Centre de Développement des Énergies Renouvelables- CDER” in 2009.
