Quirky Tank
As part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, to develope entreprnuership skills, Quirky Tank was conducted to bring out the creative,
humorous, and marketing skills of participants through an unconventional pitching challenge.
The event encouraged students to think out of the box and deliver imaginative product pitches
that were both witty and convincing.
ROUND 1: PRELIMS
The preliminary round of Quirky Tank took place on October 2, 2025, marking the start of an
exciting journey for the participants. Contestants were given a collection of quirky and funny
objects, based on which they had to create a creative pitch deck and submit it via a Google
Form on October 2
Participants were judged based on their creativity, originality, humor, and presentation skills. The
round aimed to test the participants’ ability to craft a unique and marketable idea from
unconventional prompts, reflecting both innovation and quick thinking.
ROUND 2: Final
Each team was given an object on the spot and asked to pitch and sell it
creatively to the judges. The challenge required participants to formulate a quick yet convincing
marketing strategy that highlighted the problem, presented their object as a solution, and
showcased its scope - all with humor and originality.

As the Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Sairam Engineering College, he is dedicated to fostering innovation, technical excellence, and holistic student development.
He actively promotes interdisciplinary learning through initiatives in areas such as STEM education, sustainability, IoT, and renewable energy systems, while encouraging students to participate in national and international technical forums like IEEE events
