Biography:

Jorge Amaral is an associate professor in the Department of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering (DETEL) at UERJ, working in both the postgraduate program in Electronic Engineering (PEL-UERJ) and the undergraduate program. He is currently a PROCIENTISTA researcher at the University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), a CNPq productivity scholarship recipient, and president of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Chapter in Rio de Janeiro.

Lucas Thimoteo

Biography:

Lucas Thimoteo graduated in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems from UERJ and holds a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from PUC-Rio. He is currently completing his PhD in Artificial Intelligence at PUC-Rio and leads the AI ​​practice at a technology consulting firm focused on the North American market.

Jéssica Souza of NUBANK

Biography:

Jéssica Souza is an electrical engineer with a focus on electronic systems from UERJ and holds a master's degree in Computer Science from CEFET/RJ. She has worked for large companies such as Radix, Stone Pagamentos, QuintoAndar, and McKinsey. For the past three years, she has been part of the Nubank team, where she works as a data scientist and leads AI initiatives.

Isabella Florêncio

Biography:

Isabella Florencio is a Data Scientist with experience in credit modeling and artificial intelligence systems applied to the financial sector.
She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electronic Systems from UERJ. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Intelligent Systems in the Postgraduate Program in Electronic Engineering (PEL) at UERJ.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing sports such as cycling, running, and swimming, as well as playing the piano and singing.

Julio Lopes of JusBrasil

Biography:

Julio Lopes works in the Data Analytics sector, focusing on Jusbrasil's subscriptions, supporting acquisition, payments, and anti-fraud teams with data solutions that may involve studies, indicators, machine learning models, dashboards, and data pipelines. Before this experience, he worked in a similar scope on Globo's digital products, focusing on Globoplay. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and online games.
