Webinar: Insights into the paper "Back in the Game: Privacy Concerns of Second-Hand Game Consoles"
In this webinar, we will be presenting how we analysed the Nintendo 3DS and Switch consoles to write a number of papers on the topic. We will look at the lessons learnt from the process. We will also cover the recovery processes and the reversing of the proprietary binaries to extract data that still lingers on the devices. Finally, we will discuss the design issues that are a cause for concern for user privacy and how they expose the past user of the device.
