In celebration of the spirit of Ramadan, the IEEE Student Branch organized an Iftar gathering aimed at strengthening community bonds and promoting inclusivity within the engineering field.

This event served as a platform to highlight the role and impact of the IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group and the IEEE Computer Society, while encouraging greater participation from students, particularly women, in technical and leadership activities.

The Iftar brought together IEEE members and non-members in a welcoming and collaborative environment, fostering networking, exchange of experiences, and awareness about the benefits of joining IEEE. Through this initiative, the event aimed to inspire attendees to engage more actively in IEEE programs and to support the growth of a diverse and inclusive engineering community.

Overall, the gathering successfully combined the cultural significance of Ramadan with IEEE’s mission of advancing technology for humanity, while promoting membership growth and community engagement.
