2026 Interdisciplinary Seasonal School
The East Africa Seasonal School aims to equip engineers and students with advanced skills in smart sensors, signal processing, IoT systems, photonics, and remote sensing—technologies that are transforming communication, agriculture, energy, healthcare, and environmental monitoring. Through expert-led tutorials, hands-on laboratories, and mentorship from IEEE SPS, Sensors Council, GRSS, Photonics Society, IES, YP, and HTB, participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical, data-driven problem-solving experience. By hosting the program in Kampala, the School will expand regional participation, strengthen academia–industry collaboration, and develop the next generation of innovators, effectively bridging the gap between global technological advances and local engineering capacity.
