CareerFest 2026 is a high-impact professional development summit designed to accelerate the transition of 70+ STEM students from Moi University into the professional workforce. Historically, STEM graduates in the North Rift face a "readiness gap" between technical academic knowledge and the market-entry skills required by the modern industry. This event, an IEEE Foundation Donor Supported Program, addresses this gap by providing a globally-vetted curriculum focused on career mapping, professional ethics, and technical communication.

By integrating industry expertise with academic talent, CareerFest 2026 aims to create a sustainable pipeline of industry-ready engineers equipped to contribute to Kenya’s digital economy and Vision 2030.

The program is structured around a four-pillar curriculum:

The Blueprint provides students with career mapping and navigational tools for the modern job market.

The Compass addresses the critical area of professional ethics, cybersecurity, and engineering liability.

The Megaphone focuses on high-stakes technical communication.

The Frontier explores the disruptive impact of AI and Data on traditional engineering disciplines.
