IEEE Orlando section in collaboration with Consultants Network affinity group is hosting a technical lecture by Dr. Ricardo J. Silva, Director of Strategic Development & Innovation at Premier Medical USA Corporation.

Bio sketch: Ricardo J. Silva, PhD, MBA, CCE is a biomedical engineer, author, and technology strategist specializing in intelligent systems, healthcare innovation, and global technology development. He holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Biosciences with a minor in Bioengineering from Penn State University and an Executive MBA from Rollins College.

Dr. Silva serves as Director of Strategic Development & Innovation at Premier Medical USA Corporation and has held academic and leadership roles in engineering and technology education. His work spans artificial intelligence, medical technology systems, and sustainable healthcare infrastructure, including contributions to international initiatives such as the update of the World Health Organization’s Sustainable Procurement Guide for medical technologies.
 
He is the author of The Essence of Intelligent Systems and the science-fiction series Comet Surfer, which explores the technological and ethical frontiers of humanity’s future in space.
