HKN Lambda Zeta Cookout 2026
The HKN Lambda Zeta chapter is excited to host our annual cookout on Saturday, May 9th, from 4pm to 8pm. This will be held at Pavilion 3 in North Lakes Park in Denton, Texas. The cookout is open to everyone from local HKN chapters, IEEE Student Branches, and the Fort Worth Section.
Our goal is to celebrate the end of the academic year and send off the outgoing seniors with a memorable event. We also hope to build connections ahead of the DFW-based Student Leadership Conference. This is a great opportunity for students to meet with young professionals and established professionals in the industry.
North Lakes Park has several amenities to take advantage of. There are local tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts. Several hiking trails that highlight the beautiful greenery of North Lake Park. Close by there are soccer and baseball fields as well. Everything needed for a great afternoon!
There will be food and drink provided by the Lambda Zeta chapter, but we encourage attendees to also bring something to share. Those who plan to contribute are encouraged to indicate their dish through vTools during registration.
We look forward to bringing everyone together for an enjoyable afternoon of networking, collaboration, and community building!
