WebDev KickStart is a two-day technical workshop organized as part of the IEEE WIE Day 2026 initiative, students.

The workshop aims to introduce students—especially young women—to the fundamentals of web development and computer science, helping them explore technology fields at an early stage of their academic orientation.

Participants were introduced to:

• Basics of HTML for structuring web pages
• Basics of CSS for styling and visual design

The sessions combined clear theoretical explanations with hands-on practice, allowing students to create and customize their own simple web pages.

Through an interactive and beginner-friendly approach, this event encouraged curiosity, creativity, and confidence in using technology, while promoting female participation in STEM fields in alignment with the mission of IEEE Women in Engineering.
