The Research Roadmap: From Idea to Publication
As part of IEEE Education Week 2026, this session titled “The Research Roadmap: Navigating the Journey from Idea to Publication” is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the research process for undergraduate students, graduate learners, and early-stage researchers.
The event will guide participants through the complete lifecycle of research, beginning with foundation building and idea generation, followed by methodology selection and effective execution, advancing into technical writing and manuscript preparation, and concluding with insights into the peer review and publication process. The session aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical research implementation aligned with global IEEE standards.
Participants will gain valuable knowledge on identifying impactful research problems, structuring research work efficiently, improving academic writing skills, and understanding how to navigate the challenges of publishing in reputable journals and conferences.
