⚡ IEEE Charlotte Lightning Tech Talks – Pilot Edition

Join us for an exciting evening of rapid-fire technical presentations, networking, and community engagement featuring engineers, researchers, students, and technology professionals from across the Charlotte area.

This pilot edition of Lightning Tech Talks is designed to create a fast-paced and engaging platform where speakers present innovative ideas, technical projects, research, lessons learned, and emerging technologies in short presentation sessions.

Event Format:
• 5–6 lightning speakers
• 10–15 minute technical talks
• Interactive audience Q&A
• Networking with professionals and students
• Judges and audience participation

We are currently inviting:
• Technical Speakers / Participants
• Audience Members

Possible topic areas include:
• Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Application : It can be any field of work.

Whether you would like to present, or simply attend and network with fellow professionals, we welcome your participation.

There will be a 1st Prize awarded to best speaker selected by judges and

Peoples' Choice awarded to audience voted best speaker.

Award winners will be considered judges for future events.

This event aims to foster technical exchange, presentation skills, collaboration, and professional networking within the IEEE community.
